Effects of Mg-Nd-Gd-Sr alloy on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell function derived from SD rats

Introduction The aim of this study was to determine the effect a new type Mg-3Nd-1Gd-0.3Sr-0.2Zn-0.4Zr (abbreviated Mg-Nd-Gd-Sr) alloy on bone marrow mesenchymal stem cell (BMSCs) function derived from SD rats. Methods BMSCs were first isolated and cultured in vitro using whole adherence method, identified by BMSC surface biomarkers osteogenic induction. biological safety Mg-Nd-Gd-Sr studied cytotoxicity apoptosis experiments, functions adhesion proliferation experiments. Results results showed that high-purity method. Flow cytometry high expression CD44 CD90, low CD31 CD45 BMSCs. Osteogenic induction differentiated into osteoblasts, mineralized nodules observed. rat 0–1 grade, suggesting had no significant cytotoxic BMSCs; compared with control group, there any experimental groups ( p > 0.05).
